Otkritie Bank has implemented a project on integrating MERLION’s Microsoft Navision accounting system with Otkritie Bank’ system. The project lasted three months and considerably simplified for the distributor financial operations accounting and payment documents billing.

The company’s accounting system integration is being carried out on the H2H technology basis without using online banking. This kind of solution (a direct channel for document exchange between the client and the bank) is relatively new and saves the client’s staff time as much as possible.

“Integration with the client’s accounting system has become another step to enhance riskless business with the largest Broadline Distributor on the Russian market that has been our bank’s client since 2016,” pointed out Maria Subbotina, Managing Director for Corporate Business Strategy of Otkritie Bank.

“Introduction of the H2H technology saves the operation department’s staff time and prevents technical errors, considerably accelerates payment transfer, minimizes potential fraud,” comments Dmitry Soloviev, MERLION’s Treasury Manager. “One must particularly stress the opportunity to get immediate feedback – payment status and information on account balance; due to it work has become much more convenient. Certainly, these solutions demand considerable improvements on the part of the business, but they pay off the cost of their introduction many times over. Now we can’t imagine the activities of a large holding company’s treasury without such solutions as H2H or the Bank of Russia Payment System (BRPS).
