MERLION and Lexmark begin to cooperate

Established in 1991, Lexmark began to operate in Russia late 1994. Lexmark is now a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of printing and imaging solutions for customers in more than 150 countries. In 2005, its revenues totaled $5,2 billion.

Under the agreement, MERLION gains an official Lexmark distribution rights status for consumables and printing products that makes the company’s product offering expand considerably. The new cooperation will allow Lexmark to enhance the company’s opportunities in the Russian market through the network of MERLION dealers.

In his comments on the mutual interests and prospects for the cooperation of the two influential IT-market players, Vadim Yarotsky, Deputy General Manager for MERLION Strategic Planning and Marketing, said “Lexmark is a powerful player in the printing solutions market.
