Departmental portal Segmant.ru has questioned opinion leaders proceeding from exhibition “Skrepka 2018” results. Pavel Sugrobov, Head of Department of sales of stationery and office goods of MERLION Company was among the speakers.

How do you appreciate the past exhibition as a whole?

This was, in my opinion, the best exhibition over recent years. The number of exhibitors, including those from Russia, has increased significantly. It is always pleasant when the domestic manufacturers can make someone happy with their non-standard and high-quality solutions in the field of stationery for office and school, and produce for a hobby.

What goods from the range of Company’s products will be in your opinion especially popular in 2018?

This year, the same as the previous one shows that the customer is tired of low-quality product and gradually, albeit slowly, makes a turn towards proven goods. It is very important for us, as one of the biggest distributors of stationery produce to offer only sought-after, high-quality and unique goods to our clients, which will meet all their requirements.

What stands of what companies have impressed you most of all?

What is the use of being overmodest – the stand of MERLION Company was the best one. We had a fantastic display of goods from our key vendors. For instance, we have presented to the market the renovated school collections of DELI brand, which has managed during one year only not just to enter the market but to occupy its niche and conquer a significant share of sales in its segment. Our guests were also in for an intense business and entertainment program, including master classes in exercises with kinetic sand of Silwerhof.

However, I would like to note that this year many companies have demonstrated a high level of visualization of stands of the companies-business colleagues. It makes the exhibition not only useful from a commercial point of view but aesthetically pleasing too.

What shall the Russian market expect in 2018?

The product lines have been demonstrated at “Skrepka 2018”, including really interesting goods. I suppose that the school season will show, what will really grab the end user. I am sure that our own trademarks (“Byurokrat” and Silwerhof) have chosen the right trend and hit dead on target.

If you look at the stationery market as a whole, one has to expect globalization of the branch in a positive aspect.

How much effective was the participation in “Skrepka Expo 2018” for you?

A thousand miles per hour. The format of exhibition invites to friendly communication with business partners and colleagues on the market, which has a positive effect on closing contracts and discussing plans for further cooperation.
