One of these days the 25th milestone specialized international exhibition of stationery and office goods “SKREPKA EXPO” came to an end. The organizers of the departmental event of the year have questioned the opinion leaders. Svetlana Baskakova, Procurement Director of lines of activity “Office stationery” and “Business gifts” of MERLION Company was among the speakers.

“Skrepka 2018” is a large-scale exhibition forum, which has proven itself to be the prestigious discussions platform uniting the biggest manufacturers and subject specialists. For 25 years now it defines the basic trends of development of the stationery market and plays a strategic role in forming the range of products offered by the manufacturers. On top of that, it is the place for meeting friends, colleagues and business partners.

And not least that during three days of exhibition work I came to realize that the production of stationery had increased significantly. The increased quantity of stands of local manufacturers as compared with the previous years appeared to be the indicator for it.

The preference of Russian consumers has changed with regard to stationery over the past years due to an economic situation being not the easiest. First of all, it concerns choosing goods by the price range. However, the exhibition has shown that quality and external view of the products again has become not the least important for the present-day buyer. It has been possible to see at the stands the variants of complex addressing problems on inviting the buyers. Here you can see the variety of packages, and unusual colour solutions, which will “grab” user by its view at the first gaze”.
