The MERLION company has taken part in the “DVD Show 2004. Future Technology” exhibition. At MERLION’s DVD drawing-room, a full assortment of Digitex, Imation, Philips, TDK, Verbatim data carriers, as well as new accessories from the manufacturers, was presented.
The MERLION company has taken part in the 6th International "DVD Show 2004. Future Technology" exhibition, which took place on October 8-10 in AEROSTAR HOTEL in Moscow.
At MERLION's DVD drawing-room, a full assortment of Digitex, Imation, Philips, TDK, Verbatim data carriers, as well as new accessories from the manufacturers, was presented.

The Digitex company presented a new line of "jeans"-styled accessories on the exhibition, as well as MP3 players with capacity of 128, 256, and 512 MB, with functions of FM radio and USB. Richard Benett, Head of Digitex representation in Russia, assured the visitants of the DVD drawing-room and MERLION sales managers that all Digitex novelties would be forthcoming at the company's warehouses already in October.
Imation color CDs in pop-up package enjoyed great popularity among the visitors of the exhibition of all ages. Every set included 10 color CDs of 5 colors.

Gabriela Kachina, Verbatim sales manager in Russia, demonstrated to the guests of the MERLION DVD drawing-room the newest collection of vinyl-styled CDs and the new series of professional high-performance Verbatim DVD-RAM discs, which may be overwritten up to 100 000 times.
At the Philips production stand, a special visitors' interest was attracted by DVD+R Double with capacity of 8.5 MB. As Voktor Lukhanin, Philips Russia and CIS sales manager, explained, the technology applied while producing DVD+R Double Layer discs, allows to record a three-hours film on the carrier without loss of quality.

The TDK company presented an original development in the field of digital audio, the portative purse CD speakers. The Outloud Stereo purse may be connected to a notebook, a MP3 or MD player; the NXT technology used provides a deep and quality sound from the portative speakers. One of the guests of the MERLION DVD drawing-room on behalf of the TDK company was Leonid Yushin.
Resuming the work of the MERLION DVD drawing-room at the 6th "DVD Show 2004. Future Technology" International exhibition, Vadim Yarotskiy, the company's Marketing Director, said: "The fact that MERLION participated in an exhibition of that scale means the high value of this merchandise group in the company's sales structure". Today, the MERLION assortment includes the production of all leading portable data media manufacturers, and the company's plans for the next year provide focusing on promoting it into the regions".
