On 8 of April 2008, in Yekaterinburg, the company MERLION ran a conference “MERLION: Technology Fair” for partners of the Urals federal region. The conference consisted of two parallel sessions for invited system integrators and companies that develop retail sales of computer and digital equipment. The sessions programs were compose according to the interests of the participants. 60 representatives of system integrators and 55 representatives of the computer retail sales network of the region took part in the conference.
With a word of salutation to representatives of system integrators appeared Dmitriy Pivovarov, the head of regional sales department (Urals, Siberia and Far East) of MERLION System Solutions – the department of MERLION company specializing on planned distribution. Eugeney Eralev, regional representative of HP company in в Yekaterinburg, appeared with report “Balanced architecture of HP ProLiant servers of new generation”. Oleg Kim, engineer-consultant of MERLION System Solutions on network equipment, told about solutions of HP ProCurve in building net infrastructure. Natalia Ushakova, specialist on sales of commercial lines for HP printers, presented effective decisions of HP for business in printing application field. Oleg Sokolov, manager on works with integrators of POWERCOM company, has spoken about the models and peculiarities of POWERCOM uninterrupted power supply for corporate buyers.

Representative of computer retail-sales were welcomed by Vladimir Nechaev, the head of the «Vostok» sales section of the retail sales regional department and assembly, and Ulia Pechnikova, the head of business development department of MERLION company. Ushakova Natalia, specialist on commercial lines for HP printers sales development and Vadim Glushko, the regional manager for retail-sales partner of the HP company support, in joint report told about ink-jet business devices and photo printers HP Photosmart. Dmitriy Dunilov, manager on development of channel of retail-sales of the HP company consumables, shared upon information and support of business partners, and on accompanying programs of НР company regarding consumables. Vladimir Kovalevski, head of the iRU project of MERLION company, appeared with report “Personal computers iRU”. Grigori Nizovski, commercial director of Acer company, acquainted the auditorium with mobile decisions of Acer. Konstantin Martynenko, manager on technical marketing of Sapphire company, told about new line of graphic electronic modules of Sapphire.
Next, the participants of event discussed the problems that interested them in individual order with the representatives of computer devices producing companies in the framework of the meetings schedule that was formed by requirements of participants made in advance and at “round table” sittings.

“Fair of Technologies” ended in festive reception party and entertainment program.
Ulia Pechnikova, head of business development department of MERLION company, commented on the results of events the following way: “This year company MERLION runs events in new format: “Fair of technologies”. Thanks to this format our partners, working with us on retail market, got a possibility not only to hear the presentation over retail-sales commodity but also get new knowledge on new tendencies and new equipment for enterprises which are frequently used in tenders. The key moment of the given event, I think, is the holding round tables where our partners can ask questions they are interested in not only to representatives of MERLION company but also to representatives of producing companies. The open talk at round tables is a good possibility for all participants to discuss market tendencies and evaluate perspectives of future development”.
