During this season, 11 vendors and about 200 key partners of the Broadline Distribution division took part in regional business meetings in six cities.
In 2013, MERLION launched a series of regional business meetings with key partners of the Broadline Distribution division. This year, the forum took place for the fourth time and, as usual, encompassed different regions. Within the period from March to October, meetings took place in Moscow, Kazan, on Altai, in Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don; about 200 partners took part in them.
Moscow. March 2016.
The first meeting that opened the IT Forum `2016 in March in Moscow took place with the participation of the representatives of the companies Thermaltake, Intel, GIGABYTE, TP-LINK. The speakers talked about their product ranges, presented the new products from 2016 and announced their incentive programs to the partners. The time for informal interactions was spent playing billiards, trying the fortune in the casino and horse riding outdoors.
Kazan. April 2016.
The IT Forum`2016 continued in Kazan. Here within the context of the April meeting the HP speaker talked to the partners from the Near-Volga Federal District about the evolution of the workplace and the advantages of partnership with HP Inc. The speaker from Intel discussed in great detail the 6th generation Intel® Core™ CPUs, Intel® RealSense™, 2-in-1 devices and the advantages of the Intel®Technology Provider program. The participants also saw the presentations of innovative solutions from TP-LINK, GIGABYTE motherboards and PCs, Philips and AOC monitor ranges for business, iRU computers and servers. After the official part, all the participants tested their marksmanship by trap shooting and their dexterity by bowling.
Altai. May 2016.
Within the limits of the third meeting, which took place on Altai, a wide range of topics and products was discussed: Acer’s partnership politics and the 2016 product range of this manufacturer; new products from Thermaltake and smart power units; survey of the HGST product range; HP thin clients and workstations. The pleasant final part of the Altai forum included quad biking, horse riding and rafting on the Katun river.
Saint Petersburg. September 2016.
The IT Forum`2016 opened its fall season in Saint Petersburg. The MERLION partners of the Northwestern Federal District were introduced to the newest Intel technologies and the benefits of the Intel® Technology Provider partnership program. The speaker from HGST talked about the best practices for clouds and DPC, and the representative of Thermaltake, about the new smart power units. Also discussed were the current Gigabyte solutions for all the segments of the IT market and this vendor’s support and cooperation programs. Teambuilding on the shore of the Gulf of Finland and SPA made for a nice final touch for this meeting.
Ekaterinburg. October 2016.
The next, fifth city visited by the IT Forum`2016, was Ekaterinburg. Here the representatives of the distributor and the vendors told the MERLION partners of the Urals Federal District about the new Dell consumer and client products; about new Thermaltake smart power units and Philips and AOC monitors; about Canon PIXMA inkjet equipment for business; about innovations and quality of Gigabyte motherboards and Brix platforms. At the end of the meeting everyone exercised their team spirit and competitiveness through intellectual board games.
Rostov-on-Don. October 2016.
The final meeting of IT Forum`2016 took place in the south of the country, in Rostov-on-Don. The official program was interesting and eventful. The MERLION partners in this region learned from the representatives of the vendors about all the advantages of their solutions. They saw presentation of the new smart power units from Thermaltake; of HP printing devices and the manufacturer’s course towards innovations; of НР Desktop Mini business computers; of GIGABYTE motherboards which are on the cutting edge of technology; of new Philips and AOC monitors. The IT Forum`2016 in Rostov-on-Don ended with unofficial communications between the participants as a part of a master class on making steam cocktails accompanied by tasty food and a musical duo.
