MERLION and D-Link continues to please their partners with outdoor events. So this time, the organizers invited colleagues to distract from the office routine and bustle of the city in the snow Greater Moscow Area.
The outdoor event “Extreme Weekend with MERLION and D-Link” for fans of winter recreation was held on January 20-22. Head of the D-link representative office in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries Sergei Vasyuk, as well as employees of MERLION carried out the extreme weekend program together with the participants.

Stop moping and get up on skis! – That was the motto of the first day’s evening of an extreme weekend.
First, the event participants gathered at a table in a restaurant of the famous sports park. Inspired by the fragrant mulled wine, the group went to the slopes for skiing and snowboarding. A strong cold with searing wind did not scare anybody, because every Russian is ready to overcome any obstacles for a fast ride! All lovers of winter adrenaline without exception have received positive impressions and inexhaustible charge!

Hold on the steering wheel tight, driver!
The next morning, all participants went to a nearby sports complex on the territory of which the training center for driving in extreme conditions is located. On a specially built car testing ground, IT auto enthusiasts had to combine business with pleasure becoming a party to an unforgettable test drive. First, qualified instructors conducted a theoretical master class, during which they talked about the basics of correct posture and vehicle control. But as we know, theory without practice is dry: after the learning part, the participants were offered to test their knowledge in practice by providing them with six Audi A6 cars.
At a special area, cones indicated the motion trajectory, and the instructors commented performance of a task by each driver on the radio. Under the lidless eye of the professionals, the test-drive participants could carry out controlled skidding on the car, take turns on the highway at the speed limit, test their reaction - just as they say, feel like a master of the road. Having significantly improved their driving skills and getiing hungry, the group took a break for lunch at the Audi Café. After that, the participants continued to “break in” their almost docile "horses". In conclusion, they summed up: every driver that has passed a test of strength received a commemorative certificate.

There is nothing better than the mountains that you have never climbed before!
After returning to the sports complex, the extreme sports enthusiasts went again to conquer the slopes of the park to charge with adrenaline and exciting emotions. In the evening, the participants were thawing in the melted bath.
Time while having barbecues and heart-to-heart conversation passed too quickly.
On the last day of a weekend, the winter fun lovers have not changed their mind having gone back to storm the mountain tops.
After completing the extreme weekend program to a full, the participants returned to Moscow. Now, business tops are well within the range of the seasoned winners of mountain slopes and unbroken auto-horses on the shoulder and. We are sure!
