A joint final of the All-Russian bowling tournament among MERLION's partners and MERLION Bowling Club for system integrators has been held in Moscow

A joint final of the All-Russian bowling tournament among MERLION's partners and MERLION Bowling Club for system integrators was held on November 11, 2011 in the walls of one of Moscow's best bowling clubs.

The sponsors in the finals were vendors already familiar to the participants in the qualifying games. Dell was represented by Sergei Savin and Elena Samoilova, partner channel development managers, Irina Pridybaylo, a specialist in software and peripherals, and Alexander Morozov, head of activities with selected partners. Stanislav Erofeev, partner relations manager, represented Samsung at the event, while Powercom was represented by Andrei Markin, head of department on of activities with partners, and Denis Kiselev, partner relations manager. LG was represented by Radik Nurgaleev and Alexei Struzhkov, partner relations managers.

The teams of finalists consisted of the strongest players – winners of regional stages of both tournaments that were held throughout the year in different cities of Russia.

The final battle of the bowling titans was preceded by a fascinating tour of the center of Moscow with a cultural program. Leaders of regional stages visited the Tretyakov Gallery where they gained access to the scenic heritage of Russia XVIII-XIX centuries. Moscow welcomed the guests with the first snow, but frost almost dampened the military ardor of the participants. In the afternoon, the team left for the final bowling battle.

The teams occupied their playing tracks according to the points they earned during the qualifying stages. Thus, the following teams fought for championship leadership on 10 tracks: "Typhoon" (Ekaterinburg), "Brilliantovaya Ruka" (meaning – "Diamond Arm") (Omsk), "Veselaya Pyaterka" (meaning – "The Merry Five") (Novosibirsk), "Region 16" (Kazan), "Krepkaya Rakushechka" (meaning – "Strong small shell" (Krasnodar), "Karandashi" (meaning – "Crayons") (Barnaul), "Oruzhie Killera - pistolet TT" (meaning – "Killer's weapons - TT pistol) (Vladivostok), "Adskie Troglodity" (meaning – "Hellish troglodytes") (Nizhny Novgorod), "Aksussennaya Komanda" (Samara), and "Pager" (Chelyabinsk). The tournament consisted of two games by 10 frames each without a break. A serious struggle unfolded in the metropolitan bowling finals, because all the teams tried to score as many strikes as possible. The leader changed many times during the game, but at the end, "Adskie Troglodity" with a score of 975 points, "Typhoon" (957 points) and "Aksussennaya Komanda" (947 points) literally broke into the TOP 3 of the bowling titans. "Karandashi" (933 points) had a serious attempt for the prize. The shooters from the Far East this time around did not have enough accuracy from the TT pistol. Their hunting earned them 898 points. "Region 16" (860 points) took sixth position. "Brilliantovaya Ruka" differed by only 1 point from their colleagues from Tatarstan. Unfortunately, they were unable in the finals to hammer out a decent award for themselves. "Krepkaya Rakushechka" (810 points) who underwent a metropolitan test of strength won no medals in the team competition. Trailing the final summary table were "Veselaya Pyaterka" (688 points) and "Pager" (620 points).
The "Adskie Troglodity" team that conquered the top of the podium, honestly earned glass statuette and a cash prize. That's really true: they rolled the ball and got the money! The prize-winners and the team that finished last in the standings were also awarded prizes.

The organizers also appreciated the bowling achievements in individual series. The "Adskie Troglodity" team here again were noted, or rather the hero of the team - Alexander Lukov, who collected in the individual standings 169 points. The most tagged of the fairer sex was Olga Severchuk (158 points) from the "Krepkaya Rakushechka" team.
