At the end of October of this year MERLION held a seminar devoted to HP data storage systems. More than 40 partners took part in the karaoke party which was organized in honour of them by MERLION and HP.

On October 30 this year HP data storage seminar for MERLION partners took place in metropolitan karaoke bar “Krik”. More than 40 partners took part in the training session and competition for the right to be called the best karaoke singers of the systems integration.
The event was opened by Evgeny Achkasov, MSS Manager of Moscow Regional Sales Group, with the presentation of MERLION System Solutions. In his speech E. Achkasov introduced new projects of the company to the partners, shared plans and tasks for future. Among the new projects is MERLION training center – consulting and training of partners. HP representatives: Dmitry Matchin and Aleksandr Grubin announced the new products of the manufacturer to the partners. Dmitry Matchin, HP Russia Data Storage System Manager, continued the seminar with the report “Review of Commercial Data Storage Systems - HP Storage Works”. In his report D. Matchin told the partners of network data storage systems, disk arrays - HP Storage Works MSA 2000 G2. Aleksandr Grubin, HP Russia Leading Specialist for Data Storage Systems, made the presentation “Practical demonstration of solutions HP LeftHand p4000” in which he went in detail on HP Lefthand solutions and answered the partners’ questions.
After the official part of the event a small festive stand-up meal awaited the seminar visitors. Moreover, any person could try his hand at singing popular hits at the professional stage.
