The MERLION company goes on with the series of training events in the IT school format. We have already described the spring session. In summer IT school visited Kursk, Tyumen and Saratov. In all these cities the classes were very successful. They all started with the presentation of the novelties in the business policies of MERLION company. The «MERLION 2.0 - evolution of distribution» report in each of the mentioned cities was presented by the MERLION representative, head of the business development section of the Systems Integration department Pavel Goryachkin.
In Kurst the IT school meeting took place on June 28, 2012, and it was very representational. 35 representatives of partner companies came to obtain useful information about products distributed through MERLION. They had a chance to acquaint themselves with the presentations of the novelties from Lenovo, GIGABYTE Technology and Microsoft presented correspondingly by the head of sales in CFD Vladimir Mukhin, the supervisor for SFD, CFD, UFS and SKFD Dmitry Zakharchenko and the retail partner relationship manager Sergey Pavlov.

At the IT school ‘lesson’ which took place on July 26th in Tyumen, the representatives from partner IT companies in the audience learned many useful things about the products of the five vendors. Igor Aleksandrov, the partner relationship manager, devoted his speech to the new Powercom UPS. Evgeny Karpov, the head of the marketing and planning group of the telecommunications department, spoke about the Panasonic multifunctional devices produced in 2012. The retail partner relationship manager Aleksandr Khudyakov spoke about the new Microsoft program solution and the manager for AOS business development in Russia Andrey Samoylov offered a presentation about this company’s monitors. Aleksandr Miller, the representative in Ekaterniburg and UFD, introduced the IT school audience to the seventh series of GIGABYTE Technology motherboards .

The MERLION IT school in Saratov took place on August 23. Here the ‘student’ partners could expand their knowledge about AOS monitors by listening to the speech by Andrey Samoylov, and about the Panasonic multifunctional devices which were described in that session by Dmitry Inshakov, a product specialist. And the last ‘lesson’ by the head of the Quest Software department of the MERLION company Aram Khachaturyan, they learned how efficiently the network software solutions of this manufacturer, which the customers could introduce with the help of MERLION, helped increase the efficiency of office work.

Where there are classes, there are also breaks between them. Besides the training course the audience of the MERLION IT school was also invited to an unofficial part – a special master class in making cocktails. Professional bartenders offered their help in training the representatives of partner companies in the tricks of making world-renowned cocktails and introducing them to the history of the cocktails’ invention. In each city the evening ended with a spectacular bar show.
In autumn the IT school once again will open its hospitable doors in Krasnodar, Astrakhan and Omsk.
