MERLION’s road show in Tatarstan

Kazan, on June 28 the companies Dell, Epson, Jetbalance, Konica-Minolta, OKLICK, POWERCOM presented new products for IT-specialists of Tatarstan Republic. The road show was organized by the company MERLION.

On June 28 a MERLION’s road show for IT-specialists, marketing managers, managers of computer companies and retail shops of the Tatarstan Republic was held in the club Le Chat. More than 50 representatives of IT-business from Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny participated in the trainings.

Presentation Oklick

The road show begun with a presentation of computer mice and keyboards Oklick. In the presentation «Oklick – new name in the input devices market» Lisovtseva Elena, brand-manager of MERLION, made a brief overview of the Russian input devices market, introduced a model range of OKLICK and framed the perspectives of the trade mark within the channel of MERLION. After the presentation the participants of the training could appreciate themselves the functionality and convenient ergonomic design of OKLICK input devices, choosing a computer mouse and a keyboard of appropriate size: Small, Middle or Large. The presentation also showed demo-samples of the following Oklick models: 300, 330, 510, and 770.

The presentation “Features of Jetbalance production. Tendences of development” made by Bogatyrev Stanislav, MERLION brand-manager on the acoustic systems Jetbalance, contained a review of the news of 2005, comparative analysis with competitors, introduced advantages of the Jetbalance production and touched upon perspectives of multimedia acoustic systems in the Russian market. During a test listening (makes JB 456 and JB 216) to the well-known tracks the participants could appreciate the sound of the Jetbalance production at its true value.

Presentation Dell

At the road show the company Dell was represented by Verevkin Semyon, product system engineer of Dell and Khmelinin Oleg, head of the regional sales department of MERLION. The speakers talked about stages of development of the company Dell and presented a general overview of the whole spectrum of Dell equipment: notebooks series Inspiron and Latitude, desktops series OptiPlex and Dimension, workstations Precision, servers, data storage systems, network equipment etc.

Presentation Konica-Minolta

Kurganov Andrey, product manager, made a presentation of the company Konica-Minolta in Kazan. The presentation focused on competitive edge of digital cameras Konica-Minolta, it also introduced a model range of 2005. Andrey Kurganov paid particular attention to the features of marketing support of dealers. Demo-samples of Konica-Minolta products created a great interest among the experts.

Training POWERCOM

A training «UPS POWERCOM: a whole spectrum of solutions from off-line to true on-line», worked out by the company POWERCOM, was held by strong>Perov Nikolay, Business development director. In the first part of his presentation Nikolay Perov introduced the manufacturer’s range of products, stressing newly-designed things of 2005 and popular solutions for home and office, mentioned service maintenance of UPS and sales strategy of POWERCOM. The second part of the report dealt with series WOW – this year’s bestseller, its positioning, model range features, competitive edge and marketing support.
