Voronezh meets MERLION’s “Club of Creative Companies”

On May 26, 2011 the next meeting of the “Club of Creative Companies” took place in Voronezh - an exciting intellectual game, founded by MERLION. Partners from Voronezh competed for the right to go to the Grand-final, which will take place in Moscow in September. The event in Voronezh was supported by AOC, BenQ, HP, Lenovo and Powercom.

Voronezh meets MERLION’s Club of Creative Companies At the end of May 2011 Voronezh met the next stage of the scientific-educational game “Club of Creative Companies”, organized and founded by MERLION. Each meeting unites key-partners of the region and is supported by the leading manufacturers of computer equipment. AOC, BenQ, HP, Lenovo and Powercom acted as the partners in Voronezh.

Elena Shatalova, MERLION’s business development manager opened the official part of the event with the report “MERLION – 2010 results and points of growth”. In her report Elena shared the company’s latest news with the partners. Then the vendors’ representatives continued the party:

  • Vladimir Mukhin, Lenovo partner work manager in the Central Federal District, delivered the report “Advantages of work with Lenovo”. Vladimir Mukhin presented a wide model range of Lenovo solutions and the latest novelties of the season in his report.
  • Vadim Khomyakov, BenQ’s partner work manager made a presentation for the partners called “BenQ LED monitors and projectors. Novelties of 2011”, he dwelt upon the company’s new products.
  • Aleksey Morozov, Powercom’s account manager, made the report “Beneficial cooperation with Powercom”. The partners learned about the new models of UPS and the advantages of cooperation with the manufacturer.
  • Andrey Samoylov, AOC’s business development manager in Russia, told about the solutions for the corporate market in his report “Your success together with AOC – monitors for your business”.
  • Sergey Nikolayev, HP, Russia, training-specialist of the printing systems and image processing subdivision, completed the official part of the meeting with the presentation “Technologies of HP mobile printing”. Novelties in HP the laser and inkjet printer line”.

  • Then the participants divided into four teams: “TechnoStyle”, “Goths”, “Brigade”, “Break” and exercised in various intellectual tasks. MERLION’s partners had to show creative talents and remember geography. For example, the guests of the party competed in the quiz for the knowledge of the world cities, made up words from the Russian analogue for “Hewlett Packard”, created slogans, and at the end of the party the companies’ leaders competed in a special contest, in which the judges estimated the wittiest and funniest answers to non-standard answers of the quiz.
  • According to the results of the game, “TechnoStyle” won the first place with 76 points. “Goths” took the second place with the result of 73 points, and “Break” got the third place with the result of 51 points. The winners got the awards, and the team, that won the stage, got the desired ticket to Grand-final, that will take place in Moscow in autumn, and a traditional cake with a “Club of Creative Companies” logo.
