In Krasnodar and Stavropol out seminars have been held on new Canon, EPoX, Philips, and Powercom products

On the 27th and 28th of July, the Canon, EPoX, Philips and Powercom companies, with support of the MERLION company, held out seminars for IT specialists, IT companies’ representatives and retail stores managers.

On the 27th and 28th of July, the MERLION company, a first-rate Russian computer equipment and componentry distributor, held out seminars on its new products for Canon, EPoX, Philips, and Powercom companies. The seminars were addressed to a wide range of IT specialists, to representatives of corporative market and assembling companies as well as to retail stores managers.

Нажать для увеличенияThe purpose of holding the southern MERLION's road show was to promote hi-tech products in the markets of the Southern federal district and to consolidate the relationships with existing company's partners in those regions of Russia. The vendors obtained an opportunity to acquaint Krasnodar and Stavropol companies with the perspectives of the manufacturing companies on the Russian market, to tell then about regional marketing politics, and to present the exclusive technologies and new products.

During the presentations being held, the participants of the seminars got acquainted with new features of Canon office equipment. The company's presentation was dedicated to a new PIXMA trade mark - a line of printers with opportunities of printing and MFD. Sergey Frolov, the leader of MERLION Tech Support Center, presented a PIXMA line and spoke in details about the new series' details: a futuristic minimalist design, hi-speed photo printing even in junior models, an improved system of consumables supply, and others. CANON PIXMA printing devices (the line includes 14 models) is expected to appear on the Russian market in September already.

Нажать для увеличения The EPoX representatives, - Desmond Chen, the EPoX product specialist, and Jessie Huang, an account manager, spoke about the situation on the market of desktop computers processors and the renewal of mainboard chipsets. An especially great interest among representatives of Krasnodar and Stavropol companies was caused by a new EPoX device, the eX5 Mini Me barebone system.

Alexey Zhiltsov, Philips marketing manager, presented new solutions for corporative clients in the sphere of monitors. The last news from Philips, the MiraVision unique technology, is addressed towards the representatives of hotel business. Its practical realization is a mirror TV set with interchangeable frame. When the device is on, it works as a TV set or a computer monitor, and when it is off, it ensures 100% reflectivity.

Нажать для увеличения Among the future technologies, Philips is going to elaborate 3D displays, LimiLEDs technology monitors (based on light-emitting plastic), roll-up (flexible) displays (there is already a prototype, which still has problems with color transmission) and E-ink, allowing to use small monitors as note-books. The seminar was ended by an educative short by Philips called "Communicating with the client".



Нажать для увеличения During the presentation "POWERCOM: a whole specter of solutions from line-interactive to true on-line ones", Canon, EPoX, Philips, and Powercom , system integrators manager, spoke about a renewal in the IBP SXL line, presented Powercom VGD and ONL new models, and announced a new program for the company's different level partners. A special emphasis was made on Powercom solutions for system integrators.

The representatives of 40 companies took part in Canon, EPoX, and Philips out seminars in Stavropol, and those of more than 55 companies in Krasnodar. The Powercom presentation in Krasnodar was attended by representatives of 45 companies.
