MERLION Business Channel`2012: Yekaterinburg

Having started in Rostov-on-Don, the series of partners meetings MERLION Business Channel continued in Yekaterinburg. This time the distributor gathered its partners of Urals region, overall there were more than 80 regional companies at the meeting.

The meeting was traditionally opened by a MERLION presentation. Yulia Pechnikova, head of business development department of MERLION spoke of the changes in partnership policy of the distributor, about new abilities of the B2B portal of the company, about special technical and engineering services for the partners. Then Yuri Simakov spoke, retail partners manager in Microsoft, which presented a new partners promo-program dealing with accessories. Dmitry Kuzyurin, partners manager of Dell, presented the audience consumers lines of notebooks and monitors from the producer. Another representative of the company, Andrey Kashlyayev, regional partners manager of Dell, told about the vendor's solutions for construction of an efficient data center. Pavel Kostyurin, product manager of QNAP Systems Russia, continued with the program of the conference. He presented the partners with network drives and IP video surveillance servers from the vendor. Company ZyXel was represented by Ivan Kladov, Ural Federal District representative of ZyXel. He told the participants of the event about the vendor's solutions for SMB sector and about the opportunities which partners have to make business with them in this rapidly developing segment. During the joint presentation by Lenovo and Microsoft, Denis Belyayev, head of the SMB retail department and Yuri Simakov, retailers manager of Microsoft, reviewed joint solutions of the two vendors, which are more reliable thanks to compatibility optimization. Andrey Sermin, business development manager of Brother, made a retrospective review of the company's products and presented the partners with new product service and maintenance conditions. Vitaly Nikitin, regional representative of Fujitsu in Ural Federal District, spoke about a new partners program of the vendor and presented them with a fresh review of the company's products. Aleksandr Tikhonov, head of business development department of iRU, ended the official part of the meeting by presenting its line of products and the strategy of iRU brand development.

There are partnership meetings ahead in four Russian cities scheduled for MERLION Business Channel `2012.
