MERLION Business Channel Forum in Tyumen

In the end of July a regular visiting event the MERLION Business Channel Forum  for the representatives of the Urals computer companies took place in Tyumen.

The representatives of Hewlett-Packard and GIGABYTE companies the biggest worldwide manufacturers of computer equipment told their Urals partners about primary trends on the Russian computer market, possibilities of marketing support and announced their new products.

Sergei Serebrennikov, the HP Regional Manager in retail shop support, addressed the participants with his report “Market Trends and Prospects of Jet and Laser HP Technologies”, acquainted the listeners with the new trends of jet and laser print products, and with HP marketing activities in the second quarter of 2007.

During the GIGABYTE presentation “Reliability and Innovations: the New Products from GIGABYTE” Evgeny Shurov, a representative of the GIGABYTE UNITED Inc. (the Urals), disclosed the details of the company’s latest products: a new series of motherboard based on Bearlake chip set from Intel, about the advantages of a new technology Ultra Durable 2, a revolutionary system of noiseless cooling Silent-Pipe 2 and 3 and other achievements of the GIGABYTE company. At the end of his speech Evgeny Shurov presented promotional gifts from the GIGABYTE company to the Forum participants.

Pavel Goryachkin, the Head of the Regional Sales Department MERLION System Solutions (for the Urals, Siberia and the Far East) addressed the public with his presentation “Project Distribution: Perspectives of Cooperation”.

The official part of the event ended with individual meetings, during which the participants of the Forum were able to communicate in informal atmosphere, discuss current affairs of their business cooperation with the representatives of MERLION, Hewlett-Packard and GIGABYTE companies.

After the official part of the event the participants were invited to a celebration dinner.
