A conference was attended by representatives of IBM, Microsoft and LG.
MSS-Club’2013 took place in Kazan as scheduled, from May 31 to June 1, 2013, and was attended by the vendors invited by MERLION, as well as the regional partners and IT professionals. The closing spring meeting was primarily focused on the companies dealing with supplies of Enterprise equipment and systems integrators. Within the scope of the event, the guests had a chance to hear speeches by representatives of Microsoft, IBM and LG.
The formal part of the meeting traditionally began with the presentation of the program MERLION 2.0 – Distribution Evolution. The opening speech was made by Pavel Goryachkin, head of System Integrators Business Development Department. In his speech, he emphasized the fact that a leading position at the contemporary IT market can be maintained only by introducing promising innovative technologies.
Later, Aleksandr Chaprykin, IBM’s representative in charge of partner cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke to the guests and presented his speech ‘Partner Policy and Growth Opportunities with IBM’. He also answered the questions asked by the meeting participants, mainly concerning IBM Support. Then the floor was taken by Andrey Sushchinskiy, IBM Software Product Manager at MERLION, who spoke on the topic ‘Benefits of Work with IBM. Overview of Partner Programs’.
After a short coffee break, Retail Customers Manager from Microsoft Lidia Manuylova (Kazan-Ulyanovsk) made an informative presentation on the topic ‘Peculiarities of Windows 8’ and distributed some printed materials. The formal part of the event was completed by Petr Kozlov, a representative of LG, B2B Business Development Manager of the above vendor. His speech was split in three parts, i.e., ‘New Visualization Capabilities’, ‘Overview of Real Installations’ and ‘Partner Support Program’, and initiated a lively discussion among the guests.
The informal part of the meeting took place outside, in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. All of the volunteers could practice clay pigeon shooting. The evening ended with a gala dinner, where the partners were able to discuss cooperation prospects in an ‘open-collar’ setting.
