From 26 to 28 August 2011, the best partners of MERLION and D-link went for an organized visit to the picturesque Lake Seliger.
In the extreme holidays of the passing summer, the best partners of MERLION and D-link visited the picturesque Lake Seliger in Tver region. The meeting was held in an informal setting in the scenery of lakes and forests. The aim of the visit was for the partners to have a deeper knowledge of themselves, exchange relevant information, obtain first hand information and just have a good time with successful colleagues and friends.
The meeting was attended by the head of D-link in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries, Sergei Vasiuk, as well as representatives of MERLION, namely, the Business Development Manager Julia Barinova and product manager Konstantin Shatalov.

The visiting event program was intense and quite unusual for IT-business. Fishing was the main motive for the visit to Seliger, a well-known fishing spot. The visitors fished with a small pier in the very first Saturday morning and in the evening after a hearty dinner of traditional Russian dishes, and on Sunday they marched on the oars to one of the thousand islands of the vast lake. It was here with a truly untouched civilization, where barbecues, sports games, songs around the campfire and, of course, fishing were organized. The fish soup was cooked by local masters using the catch, brought by four crews of rowing boats. Success in achieving results always inspired our partners and this time was no exception! On the same island, participants visited an internal totally deserted lake, which is called Silver due to high content of silver ions in water. The "dare-devils", despite the non-bathing season, still plunged into the clean water also called healing water. The group returned in the evening and was able to see a beautiful sight - the bright orange sunset - from the sides of their boats.
A day earlier, before going on the lake, the partners of MERLION and D-link were transferred out of their office chairs in a true saddle and rode along the coastline, with spectacular views over the expanse of the lake, and in the distance one could see the dome of the Nil Stolbenskii hermitage, a large male monastery located on of the islands in the lake. It is difficult to describe the beauty of this area!
