At the end of July of this year MERLION conducted the latest forum MERLION Business Channel for partners in the Central Federal District. About 100 representative of the largest computer companies from the region attended the event.
On 23rd July 2009 MERLION conducted the latest meeting with its partners in Zavidovo (Tver Region). About 100 representatives of the largest companies in the Central Federal District attended the MERLION forum. The representatives of the largest world manufacturers of computers – companies APC by Schneider Electric, ASUSTeK, HP, LG, Samsung and Seagate – recounted MERLION dealers about newly designed popular products and interesting partner programs.
By tradition the MBC conference was opened with a speech of welcome by General Manager MERLION Vyacheslav Simonenko.Then Sergei Raskolov, Director Sales MERLION, continued the speech with a presentation “MERLION Business Channel 2009”, where he described the current situation in the computer market in detail, and also presented before the partners the company’s new projects.

Representatives of ASUS: Dmitry Lukin, Technical Director Mobile Department and Sofia Gershman, Sales Representative, made a presentation before the partners “ASUS: Results of 2008 and perspectives of development”. In their presentation they covered in detail the possibilities of developing business jointly with ASUS, the manufacturer’s key partner programs, and they also announced the newly designed popular products in the notebook segment.
The conference was continued by Dmitry Zakharov, Marketing Manager for standard architecture servers, with a talk “HP ProLiant in the Russian market of servers”, where he gave a complete review of the server market during the continuing financial crisis and recounted about the advantages of HP servers. Dmitry Pershin, Business Representative HP ProCurve, presented the “Advantages of HP ProCurve”.

Kirill Sudarikov, Manager Product Marketing Department of Information Technologies and Corporate Sales Samsung, presented “Samsung. IT hardware for business”.Alexander Novochikhin, Regional Representative Seagate, evaluated the market situation for hard disks and recounted the partners on advantages of cooperation with Seagate in the presentation “Hard disk industry during crisis – Is the worst is over?”

Radik Nurgaliev, Manager for work with IT-partners LG, presented “LG Monitors: Market position and development directions", where he outlined the main advantages of LG monitors for partners.
Pavel Ignatov, Manager for work with Distributors, concluded the presentation block with a presentation “APC by Schneider Electric – innovative approach and legendary reliability”. In his presentation P. Ignatov described in detail the key components of market success of APC by Schneider Electric, recounted the company’s mission and tasks for the Russian market and gave a short review of the manufacturer’s basic partner programs.

Then MBC forum participants by tradition sat for a round table discussion, and then MERLION's partners had the opportunity to discuss important business-issues at individual meetings with MERLION’s managers and representatives of vendors.
After the official part of the event the forum guests attended the festive cocktail party and watched a beautiful firework.
