In the beginning of July, 2010 an annual conference MERLION Business Channel was held in Zavidovo that united in a round-table discussion Moscow partners and partners from the Central and North-Western federal districts. The productive schedule of the conference was combined with open-air walks around the picturesque localities near Moscow.
July turned out to be hot and parching: on the 8th of July 2010 the rest home of Zavidovo where the great Russian river Volga and the fascinating Shosha mingle their waters met the participants of the MERLION Business Channel conference. About 50 partners from Moscow, localities near Moscow, the Central and North-Western federal districts visited the annual regional MBC meeting. The major computer equipment manufacturers – BenQ, DELL, HP, GIGABYTE, NETGEAR and Samsung – presented to the participants of the forum up-to-date innovations and offers, and the administration of MERLION was available for communication and solution of important business issues.
Sergey Raskolov, marketing director of MERLION company, greeted the participants of the forum. In his speech he emphasized the importance of dialogue with the partners at the local level and told about the current objectives of the conference and the new projects of MERLION company.

Alexander Morozov, distinguished second-level partner relationship manager of DELL, presented the report «The strategy of DELL company at the consumer market». In his report A. Morozov touched upon the new products of the manufacturer and told to the pertners about the aims and objectives of the company for the 4th quarter of the year. Besides Alexander Morozov particularized the long-awaited for the channel partnershil program of DELL. His report aroused great interest among the audience.

Vladlena Vekshina, partner relationship manager of HP, presented the report «HP partnership program for the year 2011: the main foci. Summer-autumn 2010». In her report V. Vekshina emphasized the advantages of HP partnership program and told about the current marketing programs of the vendor being held in MERLION company.
The representatives of GIGABYTE company: Liubov Malanyina, destination representative, and Andrey Stepin, marketing and sales development manager, announced about new motherboards in their presentation «GIGABYTE as the leader in innovative technologies». GIGABYTE company is one of the world’s leaders in the sphere of high-quality PC motherboards production. Innovative technologies, interesting technological solutions and reasonable prices are the principal competitive advantages of the manufacturer.

Irina Sorokina, partner relationship trend manager of “Samsung” corporate sector, told to the partners the latest news in her report «Novelties of Samsung in the IT market». Аnd Olga Goryainova, product marketing manager of Samsung portable devices department, presented the report « Samsung Notebooks and netbooks. The road to perfection is endless». The products of the vendor is always characterized by high quality and technological perfection and regularly gets the highest awards of the world’s leading computer issues.

Vadim Homyakov, partner relationship manager of BenQ, appeared with the presentation «LED LC-monitors BenQ 2010, new technologies and advantages». From his report the partners knew about the technologies and solutions that are used in manufacture of BenQ LED LC-monitors.
The presentation module was completed by Dennis Akimov, wholesale partner relationship manager of NETGEAR, with his report «NETGEAR solutions. Effective partnership». In his report D. Akimov not only told about the product range of NETGEAR company, but also mentioned the current manufacturer’s promotion actions that took place in MERLION. NETGEAR is a new vendor of MERLION company, their cooperation started in November 2009, and the forum in Zavidovo became a sort of debut for NETGEAR which was lively and memorable as the participants of the conference confess.

After presentation module traditional roundtable discussions for the participants of the forum were held. The partners of MERLION with the active involvement of the vendors as experts took part in an exciting business game. The team of Samsung became an indisputable winner and leader, prevailing by means of its multiplicity (two tables joined together during the discussion: printers and notebooks). And the most spectacular and unexpected for the business game participants was the move of DELL team: within the sight of the audience a colorful “glamorous” 10” DELL notebook was sold by auction for 1000 rubles!

After the event the guests of the forum could enjoy freshness in the shade of the forest located near Moscow, have a rest on the bank of the picturesque pond or a walk around the rest complex in Zavidovo.
This year the final forum MERLION Business Channel will be held in Novosibirsk in October, it will get together the partners of Western Siberia.
