MERLION starts developing a new trend of bank and cash service equipment

MERLION announces a new trend in business development - distribution of bank and cashier equipment. In May we signed the first two directs contracts – with leading Russian designer DORS company and with one of the worldwide leaders in the bank equipment market Magner company.

Since 1995 this Russian company DORS has been designing and manufacturing detectors for banknotes and documents with protection elements; banknote packagers; bank deposit cells and sages; functional add-on devices for ATMs; bank data and payment terminals.

Magner's products are represented in 100 countries worldwide and enjoy popularity due to their high quality and competitive prices. Magner's equipment appeared in the Russian market in 1995, an authorized service center as well training of service specialists for Magner's products were arranged later.

"This is a new trend for us that is why it is interesting. The team developing this product category faces the most ambitious tasks- says Konstantin Dessler, distribution director for "Home appliances and electronics" division of MERLION company. Despite the fact that the wholesale bank and cashier equipment delivery market is quite busy and strong players are present there, MERLION as "we are used to" becomes a leader where it comes, will be at least in a group of three largest distributors in 2-3 years and it will work because DORS and Magner are strong brands with stable demand from Russian companies". Starting our cooperation we can say: "A leader chooses another leader".

As an official distributor of DORS and Magner in Russia and CIS MERLION has already started to sell banknote counters and currency detectors by these manufacturers. The first batches of product have already been delivered to our storage (in product catalog category "Trade Equipment").
