iRU company, one of the leading Russian computer equipment manufacturers, according to the results of the third quarter of 2018, has once again entered the TOP-5 leaders in the desktop PCs distribution. According to the analytical report of IDC Russia (an international research and consulting company, which studies the global market of information technologies and telecommunications), iRU ranks the fourth place among the key brands in the desktop computers segment.
In the third quarter, the desktop computers segment increased by 15.5% - up to 529 thousand units. The segment leader is the HP Inc. company, the second place belongs to Acer. These are followed by Lenovo, iRU and Dell. Summing up the third quarter on the Russian PC market, analysts have noted the stability and growth in all key segments.
“In October, retail trade turnover continued to grow at a moderate pace. In the online sales segment, there is a positive dynamic. Catch-up demand, increased consumer loan financing availability, and renewal of the commercial segment’s computers assortment – all these contribute to the stable situation on the PC market ” - says Natalia Vinogradova, research programs manager at IDC Russia.
It is worth noting that, over the past years, iRU retains its position in the TOP-5 of the desktop computers vendors almost every quarter.
