MERLION took part in Huawei Partner Conference 2019

At its booth, the distributor presented its cloud distribution project MerliONCloud and all the capabilities of its Value Added Distribution Division.

On March 21, 2019 in Moscow, Huawei, the world leader in information and communication solutions, held the “Huawei Partner Conference 2019”, at which it announced a new program for working with partners in Russia. MERLION sponsored the conference and presented to the attention of existing and potential partners all the capabilities of the VAD (Value Added Distribution) Division and the new cloud distribution project MerliONCloud at its booth.

“Huawei continues to grow rapidly both in the world and in Russia. Global corporate sales of the company increased by 19 % over the last year. In Russia, this figure reached 39 %, which allowed the Russian Enterprise Department to take the first place outside the Chinese market,” Alexander Stolyarov, Deputy General Director of Huawei Enterprise in Russia, said. “Partners continue to play a key role in Huawei’s corporate business. As our guides in the local market, they provide up to 90 % of sales. That is why we pay so much importance to working with partners: we regularly conduct trainings and certification of specialists, organize events and joint marketing projects, and actively invest in the regions.”

Symbiosis implies mutually beneficial cooperation based on the division of roles: possessing a huge resource and production base, Huawei develops world-leading technologies and solutions. Partners with local expertise, knowledge of the customers’ needs and the legislation specifics help effectively implement them.

Huawei is consistently working on the development of a partner channel: it invests in partners’ training in key technological competencies of the company, increases the number of partners and their profitability, prevents conflicts and counteracts corruption. Today, Huawei has more than 800 sales partners in Russia, over 20 partners in developing joint solutions, more than 70 service partners, and the number of certified specialists exceeds 1.5 thousand people.

“The main task for this year is to make work with partners even more efficient. We strive to create the most favorable conditions for them, significantly simplify the interaction procedures and increase transparency. Due to the introduction of new rules, partners’ profits should increase by more than 80 %,” Du Peng, Director of Partner Relations of Huawei Enterprise in Russia, said. “However, the economic benefit is not the only reason to work with Huawei. The most important role is played by technology companies, many of which are leading in the world. Reliability and availability of our solutions make them so attractive for our partners.”

At the conference, Huawei presented a number of technological innovations, as well as the concept of a digital platform, which is designed to ensure the integration of various technologies, such as cloud computing, big data, the Internet of things, and artificial intelligence for their joint operation within a single system.

MERLION took part in the conference as a sponsor and demonstrated a new project of cloud distribution MerliONCloud and all the capabilities of the VAD division at its booth. Since Value Added Distribution is a distribution of solutions (software, server equipment, storage systems, networks and telecoms, SCS and engineering equipment, security systems, video surveillance) with additional services, MERLION provides its partners with all their spectrum: consulting; logistics; engineering infrastructure design and construction; after-sales service; training of engineers and training on products, design, specifications. Technical expertise is also available to MERLION partners: specialists of the MERLION Engineering technical center are ready to provide full support, including engineering, at all stages — from solution development and specification preparation to commissioning and audit of the ready solution.

In addition to business communication and personal meetings at the MERLION’s booth, a competition was held: by random sampling of business cards from the drum, several lucky ones were identified who received pleasant gifts (flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 20Pro, tablet Huawei MediaPad M5 10.8 PRO, smart watch Huawei Watch GT Classic FTN-B19, 1.4").
