According to the results of the third quarter of 2019, iRU, one of the leading Russian manufacturers of computer equipment, once again entered the top 5 leaders in the supply of desktop PCs. According to an analytical report by IDC Russia (an international research and consulting company that studies the global market for information technology and telecommunications), iRU ranks fourth among the key brands in the desktop segment.

According to IDC PC Quarterly Tracker, about 1.37 million desktop and laptop computers were delivered to Russia in the third quarter of 2019, which is 8% less than in the same period in 2018. “Sales of consumer devices continue to decline, but computer supplies to the commercial segment are growing. A quarter of all supplies of computer equipment accounts for corporate customers. This fact is the basis for cautious optimism for many market players,” said Natalia Vinogradova, research program manager at IDC Russia.

The following companies are among the five leaders of the Russian personal computer market: HP Inc. (23.7% of all PCs delivered during the quarter), Lenovo (20.4%), Acer (17%), ASUS (9.2%) and Apple (5.7%). Deliveries of desktop PCs in the third quarter decreased by 0.6% compared to last year and amounted to 525 thousand units. HP Inc., Lenovo, and Acer top the list of desktop leaders. Closing the top five is iRU (4th place) and DEXP (5th place).

It is worth noting that iRU maintains its position in the TOP-5 suppliers of desktop computers almost every quarter over the past years.
