RAEX-600

The Kommersant newspaper published the rating “The Largest Companies in Russia by Product Sales Volume” (RAEX-600), prepared by the RAEX agency (RAEX-Analytics). MERLION has been in the ranking for 14 years (since 2005), and this time it has risen two lines up and took position No. 59.

“The results of the annual rating of the largest Russian companies RAEX-600 indicate that leaders are growing faster than the economy as a whole,” the rating authors write. - The total annual revenue of the largest companies in Russia reached $1.44 trillion, and in rubles, its annual growth amounted to 18.3%. The growth rate of the participants' revenue in rubles almost doubles for the second year in a row (in 2016, it amounted to 5.8%, and in 2017 - to 9.8%). The gap between the revenue growth rates of the largest companies and the average aggregate turnover of Russian enterprises is steadily growing: in 2018, it amounted to 5.1pp compared with 1.3pp a year earlier. This indirectly indicates that the largest business is much better adapted to the prevailing conditions in the second half of the 2010s than the Russian economy as a whole.”

The full version of the rating is presented in the Kommersant newspaper dated 03.10.2019. The text is based on these materials.

We want to remind you that the annual Forbes rating of “200 largest private companies in Russia” has been released recently, where MERLION takes position No. 35, as well as RBC rating “500 largest Russian companies” where MERLION is on line 58.
