For the 14th consecutive year, the distributor has been included in the first fifty of the largest private companies in Russia.
The financial and economic magazine Forbes published the annual rating of “200 largest private companies in Russia”. MERLION has become the only one in the market of wide-profile and IT distribution to be included in the first Forbes TOP-200 list, published in 2005, and has not left the rating for all 14 years. This year, the company takes position No. 35 and is still significantly ahead of its industry colleagues.
According to Forbes, the total revenue in rubles of 200 private companies over the year increased by 22,2%, to 43,7 trillion rubles. The rating list includes companies that control private individuals (more than 50%). Companies are ranked by revenue for 2018. The basis for revenue estimates is information provided by companies. The data of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and Rosstat, presented in the SPARK system, are also used. Revenue details are reconciled with economic activity data and analyst estimates. If a calculated estimate (in absence of official data) is taken as the final figure, this is indicated in the table.
