To reduce the burden on the environment, the company has implemented a number of changes in the production process of several models of gaming and executive chairs from June 1, 2021.

The Bureaucrat trademark, owned by the largest broadline distributor MERLION, which has had its own production facility in Chekhov for more than 20 years, possesses a modern warehouse complex and is one of the leaders in the production of office chairs in Russia, announced the start of production modernization in favor of the environment. Thanks to the implemented changes, the company will be able to reduce its carbon footprint by 440 tons of CO2 per year, and also reduce electricity consumption by 35,000 kWh. On a production scale, emissions will decrease by 7% per year, which is a very significant indicator. The changes in the production process took effect on June 1, 2021.

Now the plastic, which is used for the armrests and crosspieces of several models of executive and gaming chairs, is no longer covered with paint but is produced in black. “The fact is that during the painting process, a large amount of harmful substances is released into the environment. Therefore, it was decided to abandon this in favor of the environment and reduce the carbon footprint," said Pavel Balyasnikov, director of Bureaucrat production. In addition, colored plastic is not recyclable.

Let us remind you that earlier MERLION announced the entry of Bureaucrat into the German market and assessed 2020 for production as successful, despite the crisis and pandemic. In addition, last year Bureaucrat launched the first and unique for Russia production of professional gaming chairs, which has no analogs yet. According to analysts, the share of Bureaucrat in the gaming chair market in Russia today is more than 30%.
