Sales of laptops have grown by 14 % in Russia per annum
The analytical company ITResearch has provided preliminary data on the Russian market of laptops for the 4th quarter and for the year 2017 as a whole. So, approximately 1.08 mln. laptops were sold during the fourth quarter of 2017 in Russia. The dynamics as compared with the 4th quarter of 2016 amounted to +7 %. It is a little better than 5 % of the annual growth registered in the third quarter. 3.3 mln. units have been sold according to preliminary evaluation over a year.

Market of laptops grew by 17 % in December
According to data of analytical company ITResearch the Russian market of laptops grew in December as a natural result. The sales have amounted to about 425 thous. units. The annual market dynamics has grown significantly and reached 17 %. This is the best growth indicator beginning from July 2017. However, the cumulative indicators of sales can be assessed as normal for “high” season.

Capabilities of portable document scanners increase
The >portable document scanners have for long represented an utterly narrow niche segment, however, it is permanently burgeoning recently. According to data of analytical company ITResearch a combined total of more than two dozens of models of these units are presented now on the Russian market. The number of vendors is also expanding. The edition gives a list of scanners with prices and brief technical characteristics.

Growth on the Russian market of projectors exceeded 10 % in 2017
According to preliminary data of analytical company ITResearch, around 41.4 thous. projectors were sold during the 4th quarter of 2017 in Russia, which is by 11 % higher than the levels of the identical period of 2016. The growth is reasonably significant, but the analysts get somewhat alerted by the fact that the growth rate dropped essentially by the end of the year. Tentatively, around 107 thous. projectors were sold during entire 2017 in Russia. The growth has amounted to about 12 % as compared with 2016. The experts expect in 2018 approximately the same growth rate and market reaching the level of 120-130 thous. sold units. A comprehensive market restoration admits yet not to be mentioned, moreover, considering growth of such substitutes as LFD and LED modules practically in all applications, including education (just take supply of 20 thous. 86 in. interactive panels to Moscow schools in 2017-2018 alone).

Russian market of monitors exceeds expectations
According to preliminary data of analytical company ITResearch 910-915 thous. monitors were sold in the 4th quarter of 2017 on the Russian market, which exceeds the company’s target prediction (850-900 thous. pieces). Accordingly, ITResearch forecasts a tentative volume of the Russian market in 2017 at the level of about 2.8 mln. units. It corresponds to 18 – 19 % of the annual growth, which is slightly higher than the last-year’s prediction of ITResearch for 2017. The analysts also maintain a positive forecast for 2018 too.
