For thirteen years in a row the Company was bestowed of such status according to “iXBT Brand – Readers’ choice” poll results.
The editorial board of iXBT.com website traditionally holds “iXBT Brand – Readers’ choice” polling at the end of every year. The participants are advised to select the most prominent market players in various categories: name the companies, which have done most of all, achieved most of all, promised most of all or deserved owing to any other criteria a dignity of the “Brand of the year” in the eyes of customers. The editorial board emphasizes that “this inquiry is carried out with the aim of finding out what components are installed with the users – a task is set to identify the most active players on the market”.
Having introduced the function of mandatory registration for participation in the inquiry, the editorial board has maintained this requirement this year too. At the same time the readers could take advantage of the opportunity of authorization for polling by means of accounts of popular social media. “The use of several accounts of different social media by the same user will be treated as an attempt of “churning”, all the votes of this user will be deleted. Participation in the inquiry of the registered users only will help significantly increase impersonality of results, which will undoubtedly increase the weightage and significance of an annual inquiry”, says the information of rating founders.
5,839 persons participated in the inquiry according to the results of 2017 (2,826 persons took part in 2016). This year there were already 32 nominations, in which the polling was held (a year ago this figure was 29).
According to polling results MERLION again for thirteen years in a row (since 2005) is among the winners in nomination “The best distributor of the year” – the second place and 20.2 % votes. “The biggest distributor, MERLION company, has added votes in the finished polling and improved its positions by taking the second place on the pedestal”, writes iXBT.
It should be noted that apart from MERLION electronic discounter citilink (retail project of distributor) is represented in this rating nearly from its very beginning, from 2008. The sixths year in a row the votes of respondents take it to TOP-3 in nomination “The best retailer”. This year CITILINK is No. 2 with 15.1 % of votes.
