At Swiss Days 2018, the distributor represented products of two Swiss companies – Victorinox army and kitchen knives and Caran d’Ache collections writing tools and accessories.
In April 2018, a large-scale exhibition of Swiss-made consumer goods and services or Swiss Days 2018 was held in “Piter RADUGA”, one of the biggest business centers in St. Petersburg. The project is mostly intended to promote Swiss products, culture and Switzerland in whole as a country best suitable for business, medical treatment and leisure.
For a period of 10 days, the atrium of the shopping and entertainment center was turned into Switzerland in miniature: featuring mountains, Swiss cottages, alphorn players, Swiss goods and services. MERLION took part in this event. The distributor exhibited two brands such as Victorinox and Caran d’Ache, which are justly and proudly marked as “Swiss Made”. A new collection Caran d’Ache 849 Alexander Girard in a light and firm aluminum casing with a flexible steel clip was presented at the exhibition booth, along with a pen included in the limited Nespresso collection. This collection will be available in stores only in June 2018.
This year, Victorinox represented a series of jackknives, Swiss army knives and kitchen knives. At the exhibition booth, visitors were offered to make a customized knife engraving, consult experts for caring and handling accessories, and to know upcoming new products and study the brand catalogue showing all limited collections for 2018.
