MERLION: the results of our participation in Intel Partner Connect EMEA

Annual conference Intel Partner Connect EMEA took place from May 14 to 17 in Prague, at Prague congress center. This large-scale event traditionally gathered over a thousand delegates- representatives of the IT industry from all over the EMEA region. This year the conference hosted various technical sessions dedicated to artificial intelligence, 5G, digital transformation, storage, cloud-based technologies, games-everything Intel works on. Manufacturers demonstrated their products and solutions on tens of exhibition stands, face-on-face business meetings were held, the most important and key industry trends and technologies were brought to attention in seminars and presentations. The conference delegates had an opportunity to ask Intel representatives their questions, agree on further steps towards cooperation with leading IT manufacturers as well as exchange their visions and experience.

This year MERLION took part in the conference as an EMEA Featured Sponsor and showcased iRU and DIGMA products on our exhibition stand.

 So, we brought to attention of active and potential partners our office PC iRU Office 313 USFF with an additional information protection system in the form of a fingerprint scanner. It is a reliable and budgetary office solution made in a plain black case with possible vertical and horizontal installation. The computer is built on dual core processor Intel Core i3 7100 3.9HHz with 4096 MB RAM DDR4 2133MHz (with possible upgrade up to 32 GB) and HDD 500 GB. It is provided with Intel HD Graphics 630. It can run on both preinstalled operating system Windows 10 Pro and in a combination with Office 365, home and business edition Office 2016.

 The second product by iRU showcased on the exhibition stand: J232X - 23,8" and an office all-in-one desktop with Windows Hello (a face recognition system). A stylish model with thin frame. Full HD screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 is based on AMVA+, which is an improved version of MVA-matrix, it features wider angles of view (178/178) and enhanced contrast properties. Among other features of this all-in-one desktop is a well-thought cooling system without heating its internals and matrix connection via LVDS port (due low level fluctuations and transmitter output current rating this technology provides low noise levels and very low power consumption within the entire range of transmission rates. All-in-one desktop J232X is a budgetary solution with any configuration possible to order (based on any processors from Intel to Core i7 inclusive). Models with most demanded configurations will be available in stores soon.

The manufacturer's warranty period for computers is 36 months and for all-in-one desktops is 12 months and this is an additions advantage of iRU products.

 DIGMA's solutions were also showcased on our exhibition stand (MERLION is an exclusive distributor in Russia). Visitors could familiarize themselves in detail a new-generation laptop DIGMA CITI E302 made in a light and strong aluminum case. This new model is provided with powerful dual core processor Intel Core m3 7th generation providing high efficiency of the device. This laptop is provided with 4 GB RAM and built-in memory 64 GB with possible upgrade. A distinguishing feature of laptop series CITI E302 is USB-port type C, which is manufactured with supplied USB HUM made from aluminum.

The vendor also demonstrated 11.6" laptop-transformer DIGMA CITI E220, which runs on operating platform Intel and has a soft touch screen. The device is capable of operating in four position: position for easy viewing of video content; operation on a full-featured laptop for business correspondence, work etc; viewing video content or interacting through video calls; it can be used as a full-featured tablet.

As a conclusion it should be noted that both MERLION and vendors consider their participation in this conference efficient and are prepared to take part in future large-scale events to be held by Intel Corporation in Russia
