MERLION is now the official distributor of AlterOS

ALMI Group, a Russian IT solution maker and system integrator, and MERLION, the largest broad line distributor and one of the leading VAD companies in Russia have signed a cooperation agreement to promote AlterOS, a domestic operating system.

Developed as a Linux-based system, AlterOS is intended for application tasks related to the building and optimization of the IT infrastructure for commercial companies and state organizations. This OS complies with all applicable Russian state standards. That’s why the system is included in the Register of Russian Software as the product recommended for governmental customers, according to the Order of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

For the time being, AlterOS OS is available in three versions, such as AlterOS Server (AlterServer) and two versions intended for workstations – AlterOS Desktop and AlterOS Desktop Lite.

With its intuitive interface and compatibility with all major application software products, AlterOS is available to any user, regardless of the training level. Main advantages of the system: stability and fault-free operation, security, reliable data storage and advanced client support service.
