Huawei named MERLION as the best distributor in Russia

According to the results of work in 2018, Huawei Corporation named MERLION as its best distributor in Russia. The traditional symbol of the winning partner – a bronze samurai – was presented at the annual Huawei Partners Award Ceremony held in Moscow on February 28, 2019.

Igor Solntsev, Director of MERLION's VAD Division, received the prestigious figure from Mitchell Du, Director of Partner Relations Department at Huawei EBG, Russia. Partnership in the field of implementation of VAD-projects today is a strategic and one of the most dynamically developing business areas for both the distributor and the manufacturer. Over the past few years, Huawei has been confidently taking leading positions among the most popular brands of MERLION's VAD Division. The share of vendor's products in the segment of Enterprise solutions delivered within the scope of VAD projects in 2018 reached a record level of 27%.

MERLION and Huawei support long-term successful cooperation, the effectiveness of which has been repeatedly confirmed by prestigious awards. At the very first ceremony of awarding Huawei's Russian partners, held in 2016, MERLION was recognized "for its high professionalism and contribution to the project business development."

Later, the success of the Russian distributor was recognized by the vendor at the global level. Last year MERLION became the first Russian company in history to receive the title of Excellent Distributor Worldwide – the most prestigious status that the manufacturer gives to its key partners around the world.
