Merlion became the exclusive distributor of domestic computing equipment “Amur”

The company’s portfolio now includes Amur personal computers, all-in-ones, nettops, and servers.

Merlion, one of the largest Russian VAD distributors, and Amur, a Russian manufacturer of computing equipment, have announced the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement.

Starting May 2025, Merlion will begin B2B deliveries of Narwhal PCs, Tiger all-in-ones, Finval nettops, and servers from the Russian manufacturer.

Amur focuses on producing products designed to meet the needs of government agencies, municipal institutions, and commercial companies. The vendor’s production facilities are located in Russia and can produce up to 1 million units annually, enabling deliveries on any scale.

“Domestic computing equipment is in high demand right now. For example, the share of Russian PCs by mid-2024 reached 47% of total sales, and production volume of computers and components in Russia in 2024 grew by 17.7% compared to the previous year, totaling 181 billion rubles.
Amur’s products will expand our range of computing equipment, especially registered (approved) models. Regulatory bodies set strict requirements for both configurations and the quality of components, as well as for after-sales service. Therefore, being listed in the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s register is in itself a sign of reliability.
The status of exclusive distributor is a special level of responsibility. Aware of this, our team is actively building expertise in Amur’s products to help the company establish regular deliveries and grow its market share in computing.”

In the near future, webinars and training sessions on the products will be developed and held so that Merlion employees and partners can become more familiar with Amur and learn about the key competitive advantages of its products.

The distributor also plans to create a demo stand in Merlion’s demo center featuring the vendor’s solutions. This will allow testing of the equipment's operation, software compatibility, and configuration analysis for specific projects.

As part of this partnership, warranty and post-warranty service for Amur equipment will be handled by Merlion’s service department.
