The award ceremony took place at the ASUS annual partner conference.
At the annual ASUS partner conference held this fall in Moscow, which was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the company this year, Russian partners were traditionally awarded special prizes. Once again, MERLION was awarded among distributors.
The award “For successful cooperation with ASUS in 2019” was given to Tatyana Skokova, Distribution Director of the “Wide-Profile Distribution” Department of MERLION, from the hands of ASUS Vice President Eric Chen. “Congratulations to ASUS on its anniversary, and thank you for recognizing the results of our work,” says Tatyana Skokova. “ We express hope for further long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with one of the technological market leaders.”
The MERLION portfolio includes the entire range of vendor products: components, computers, laptops, peripherals, smartphones, wired and wireless network equipment, servers, and options for them, accessories. The award reflects MERLION's high contribution to the sale of the full range of ASUS products. For example, the share of ASUS motherboards among four brands in MERLION sales has exceeded 35% in units for many years. In the consumer segment of laptops, the share of ASUS among six brands is stable and is about 25% in unit terms in sales.
In conclusion, it is worth noting that MERLION has been an official distributor of ASUS in Russia for 19 years (since 2000).
