MERLION has added a progressive runtime environment Java Liberica JDK and a standardized application server LiberCat to the portfolio of domestic software solutions.
MERLION, the largest wide-profile distributor in the Russian market, and BellSoft, one of the world leaders in OpenJDK, signed a distribution agreement. It creates a new business segment for IT companies to supply and support domestic products based on world-class expertise in the Java platform. Thousands of partners of one of the Russian VAD (Value Added Distribution) market leaders will be able to implement the progressive Java Liberica JDK runtime and the standardized LiberCat application server with Russian technical support from BellSoft. The new partnership will allow offering integrated sets with domestic operating systems from the MERLION portfolio and will expand the landscape of industrial systems based on the technologies of the developer-trendsetter.
