MERLION has become the first НРЕ distributor, having received the opportunity to sell HPE GreenLake contracts in Russia.
MERLION and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), the world's leading manufacturer of corporate IT solutions, have signed a distribution agreement giving MERLION the right to supply the finished solution HPE GreenLake to the Russian market within "one window" with guarantees and expert technical support directly from the vendor.
MERLION has become the first НРЕ distributor that received the opportunity to sell HPE GreenLake contracts. Until recently, the company's partners had no possibility of working through a distributor, and contracts were signed directly with HPE. This imposed a number of limitations and prevented them from receiving additional services that were available on the distributor's side but unavailable directly from the vendor, such as financial (hedging, delay), logistic, and presale services.
HPE GreenLake is an IT-as-service consumption model which provides the customer with IT infrastructure or higher-level solutions for use (for example, Back-up, VDI, or specialized infrastructure for SAP HANA) with location on the customer's territory but payment following consumption, as in the cloud.
