In his new position, Evgeniy will focus on creating a new vision and further developing private labels (private brands) of the Merlion Group of Companies.
On March 19, 2024, Evgeniy Zakhodnov was appointed to the position of director of the Private Brands Merlion division.
Evgeniy graduated from the Moscow State Engineering Physics Institute with a degree in Physics of Charged Particle Beams and Accelerator Engineering. Following his graduation, he worked as an engineer at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics.
In the early 2000s, Evgeniy changed his field of activity to the commercial one by joining the Alvis+ company as a procurement manager. Then he pursued his career goals in the procurement of consumer electronics and photographic equipment in the Techsoyuz and Alion companies.
In 2011, Evgeniy moved to the Bureaucrat company to the position of head of the accessories procurement department. In August 2013, Bureaucrat signed a strategic partnership agreement with Merlion and became part of the group of companies. Evgeniy joined the Merlion team in the role of Product Team Lead of the Accessories procurement department, and since July 2020 he has held the position of Product Development Manager of the Consumer Electronics procurement department. Evgeniy successfully developed this area and effectively led the team.
