Merlion announced the full acquisition of the fulfillment operator "Kaktus" into the group of companies. The distributor is consolidating essential competencies in sales management across various channels, including process optimization for marketplace sales.
In early 2022, the Merlion Group acquired a 51% stake in Tempoline Logistics LLC, the creator of the well-known fulfillment operator Kaktus. The service provides ready-made infrastructure for business development and omnichannel commerce, helping to automate operations through logistics and software solutions, including analytics, warehousing, and order processing.
Kaktus enables business scaling, supports multiple sales channels, and helps optimize storage, handling, and delivery costs. The provider collaborates with all major Russian marketplaces using FBO (Fulfillment by Operator), FBS (Fulfillment by Seller), and DBS (Delivery by Seller) models.
Kaktus and Merlion Group's logistics infrastructures have now been merged, allowing Merlion's partners to increase logistics efficiency and eliminate additional transport stages in marketplace sales.
The fulfillment operator will continue under the "Kaktus" brand, focusing on expanding its client portfolio and range of services, strengthening its position as a logistics provider with a reliable and flexible infrastructure.
