Merlion Expands its Portfolio of Data Protection Solutions

One of the largest distributors in the Russian market, Merlion, has signed an agreement with AO Dinamichnyye innovatsii, a Russian developer of information security solutions focused on data protection. The vendor is licensed by FSTEC and FSB and is committed to creating innovative products that surpass existing Russian data protection solutions.

Merlion's partners now have access to the vendor’s software product, Cryptallit, a comprehensive solution for proactive data protection on file servers and user workstations, preventing leaks and compromising confidential information.

Data protection is ensured through strong encryption algorithms (GOST and international standards), reliable authentication (2FA), and user access policy management.

The software includes two data protection modules:

1. Network Shared Folder Protection Module (NSM):

Cryptallit NSM protects data in shared folders on file servers against external attacks and privileged users (IT administrators).

2. Local Disk Protection Module (LSM) – an alternative to Bitlocker:

Cryptallit LSM is the Russian alternative to Microsoft’s widely used Bitlocker solution. Cryptallit LSM enables seamless migration from MS Bitlocker. Data encryption on hard drives (HDD, SSD) is most relevant for mobile workstations.
