The Russian VAD distributor Merlion and Fanvil, a developer of IP telephony solutions, signed a cooperation agreement. The distribution agreement covers all audio and video IoT devices manufactured by the Chinese vendor.
As part of the partnership, Merlion becomes an authorized distributor of Fanvil products in the Russian Federation. The cooperation is primarily aimed at expanding Fanvil’s brand presence in Russia, speeding up equipment deliveries, and strengthening support for the partner network—integrators, providers, and resellers.
Fanvil is a Chinese company founded in 2002, specializing in the development and production of VoIP equipment. It is one of the world’s largest suppliers in this field, exporting IP phones, video conferencing solutions, switches for IP-PBX connectivity, headsets, and headphones to more than 130 countries.
According to forecasts by J’son & Partners Consulting, by 2028 the volume of the Russian corporate communications market will grow from 49.8 billion rubles in 2024 to 149.7 billion rubles. This growth is driven by the transition to ecosystems based on unified modular platforms that integrate telephony, video communication, messengers, chatbots, and other tools.
