Merlion has been named one of the "Best Russian IT Distributors of 2026" by IT Channel News

The editorial team at IT Channel News presented the results of the "Best Russian IT Distributors – 2026" ranking.

The survey was conducted from late June to mid-September 2026. It involved representatives from 325 IT companies across 72 localities. The survey respondents included top managers (CEOs, executive directors, commercial directors, and their deputies), employees in the procurement, sales, and logistics departments, as well as managers in the marketing divisions of dealership companies.

The best companies were identified across seven categories: "Distributor for System Integrators", "Distributor for Retailers", "Distributor for Assemblers", "Software Distributor", "Specialized Distributor", "Distributor of Information Security Systems" (a new category), and "Distributor of AV Solutions".

The activities of distributors were assessed based on 13 criteria: "Prices", "Profit-Building Programs", "Product Range", "Product Availability in Stock", "B2B System Availability", "Clear Standards (Formalized Rules and Procedures) for Working with Partners", "Flexibility and an Individual Approach to Partners", "Problem-Solving Capability", "Vendor Relationship Management", "Financial Support", "Consulting and Assistance with Project Development", "Marketing Support", and "Crisis Support".

Merlion was ranked in the top 5 across four categories:

• First place in the "Best IT Distributor for System Integrators" category based on three criteria: "B2B System Availability", "Product Availability in Stock", and "Profit-Building Programs".
• "Best IT Distributor for Assembler".
• "Best IT Software Distributor".
• "Best IT Distributor of Information Security Systems".

It is worth noting that Merlion has consistently ranked among the top distributors for the ninth consecutive time (previous rankings were published in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021).
