On September 8, 2022, the Moscow School of Management (SKOLKOVO) will host one of the key events in the IT industry – Merlion IT Summit 2022, organized with the support of leading IT companies that stimulate the development of the Russian economy.
Today, any business in Russia is challenged not only by competition in the market but also by the current situation with supply chains and the suspension of many vendors' activities in Russia. Therefore, this year's event will be devoted mainly to the import substitution strategy. The goal of Merlion IT Summit 2022 is to "reassemble" the Russian IT market community as part of a large industry event and provide businesses with effective tools for adapting to the new economic reality. The theme of the summit: “Sustainable development: IT as a driver of import substitution.”
Merlion held its first summit five years ago. During this time, it has become one of the largest events for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the professional community. In a joint effort with representatives of the state, industry leaders, leading Russian developers and manufacturers, as well as leading system integrators, we will discuss the impact of the current situation on the digital transformation of business and ways to solve current problems. We will also arrange thematic clusters to consider ready-made solutions using the examples of implemented projects and present new names of the domestic IT industry to a wide audience.
