A strategic step for further brand development in Russia.
The Merlion group of companies announced the launch of the official TECNO online store in Russia — hi-tecno.ru. At launch it features three categories of devices: smartphones, laptops and wireless headphones. In the near future the assortment will be expanded with new product categories such as smart watches and other smart devices.
TECNO is an international brand founded in China. The company’s products are represented in more than 70 countries. The brand has been actively developing in Russia since 2018, and since 2023 it has consistently ranked second in smartphone sales.
Merlion has been the official TECNO distributor since February 2025.
The launch of the official online store is a strategic step for the brand’s further development in Russia: increasing brand awareness and user engagement in the product ecosystem, providing premium service for products, and raising customer knowledge about the company’s offerings. The store offers call-centre support, service maintenance, fast delivery and secure online payment.
Development plans for the official online store include adding the ability to pre-order new products and introducing a loyalty programme aimed at stimulating repeat purchases.
