The Russian VAD distributor Merlion has announced a strategic partnership with Yuztech Group, a domestic developer of IT products and services. Yuztech provides IT consulting services, implements information systems, and develops complex web and mobile applications as well as machine learning–based solutions.
Merlion’s portfolio will include Octopus, a universal AI platform developed by Yuztech for transparent management and optimization of IT resources of any scale and architecture—from private data centers to cloud environments.
Thanks to ML models, Octopus balances the load on the information infrastructure in real time and automatically adapts to its needs. This increases the efficiency and fault tolerance of data center operations without significant changes to IT systems.
With the help of AI technologies, Octopus simulates various scenarios of infrastructure changes and their consequences, enabling management to make effective economic decisions. The platform provides both automatic and semi-automatic (operator-confirmed) load balancing, thereby freeing IT department resources for more complex and comprehensive tasks.
