Merlion Signs Distribution Agreement with Russian Innovation Company Macroscop

Merlion and Macroscop, a Russian innovation company that develops software and video analytics for video surveillance systems and produces network video recorders (NVRs), have signed a distribution agreement.

Macroscop has been operating in the Russian market for more than 12 years. The developer's product (Macroscop software) is used in a wide range of areas: from government agencies, retail, production and office premises, to public spaces and roads.

Macroscop analytics modules include such functionality as facial recognition and license plates, a crowd detector, visitor counting, control of shelf occupancy and queue length for retail, control of personnel activity and availability of work clothes, smoke and fire detector, and much more.

Both Windows and Linux operating systems are fully supported by the Macroscop client. Macroscop software supports integration with all the most popular IP camera models from more than 200 brands represented in Russia.
