MERLION, Russian IT distribution leader and OLYMPUS, the leading manufacturer of digital products, announced the start of their cooperation.
The agreement conditions cover several product groups, namely digital compact photo cameras, digital reflex photo cameras, and digital dictaphones.
The decision to start a cooperation was adopted on the basis of the growing demand for high-quality and high-tech digital products. “One of the special features of the OPLYMPUS product group we’ve selected (digital compact photo cameras, digital reflex photo cameras) is its seasonal demand. This gives our partners an additional opportunity to use the new resource efficiently in the period of the traditional summer sales drop for core products. Today MERLION cooperates with a majority of well-known global manufacturers of digital, photo and video equipment. The new products will join the other product offers of MERLION (Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Samsung and SONY) and provide the company with an opportunity to cover basic market demands in this area.
