MERLION – “ The Best Distributor of 2009”!

CRN/RE editors summarized the results of the second rating “Best Russian IT Market Distributors 2009”.

MERLION became absolute leader in the nomination “Best IT Market Distributor for an Assembler 2009”!

CRN/RE: «Respondents more frequently named MERLION among the best candidates – 66.7 % of votes”.

In two more nominations, “Distributor for a System Integrator” and «Distributor for a Retail Company«, MERLION is among TOP-5 best distributors.

CRN/RE: “Our respondents think that the best quotation for system integrators currently is offered by MERLION. This company was given the highest grade – 83.715 points.” “The best Distributor for a Retail Company respondents more frequently named MERLION – 55.56 % of votes”.

The key advantages of MERLION, according to the partners’ opinion, are prices, wide range of goods, availability of goods at the warehouse, financial support.

How the research was carried out:

 
The poll was held from the end of July till the end of October, 2009. Respondents of the poll were representatives of 324 IT companies from 40 towns: top-managers, associates of purchase and sales departments, and managers of marketing departments of dealer companies. In the research of 2009 the editors offered to the poll participants to name out three candidates for the title “The Best IT Distributor”. So the final list of candidates was shaped according to the principle of the “opened list”. To make the results more representative a limitation was imposed – threshold of the channel. I.e. only those distributors were admitted to the final competition, which are indeed well-known in the channel.
