MERLION and Imation announce the beginning of official collaboration. Imation products and its support program for second-level partners are available now for Russian partners of MERLION. Imation production delivery has already begun.
MERLION Company, Russia`s leading IT distributor, and the world`s leading provider of removable data storage products, Imation announced the signing of the official distribution agreement. MERLION`s distribution agreement covers the whole spectrum of Imation products: diskettes, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, printable optical Disks, Flash devices, cartridges, etc.
To date 3 companies have official distribution agreement in Russia: Ergodata, Alion Distribution Company and MERLION. MERLION Company is considered as a Strategic Partner 2004.
Theo Bouwmans, General Manager Imation Europe, says, ”Merlion will bring new opportunities for Imation to grow Imation`s business in magnetic and optical storage media in Russia.”
Following objectives are pinned on new distributor (MERLION):
All products of world leading provider of removable data storage products in the middle price range and its support program for second-level partners are available now for Russian partners of MERLION.
In the context of proactive promotion of Imation products onto Russian market, MERLION and Imation are planning to have number of marketing programs for second-level partners and end-users.
The first shipment of Imation products has already arrived to MERLION Companies warehouses (MERLION-Citilink, MERLION-Denikin, MERLION-Elsie, MERLION-Lizard).
