“Computer Clinic Network” has been operating for 2 years. Service centers have been opened in more than 60 cities of Russia and about 160,000 requests from the network clients have been processed during that time period.
The number of requests to “Computer Clinic Network” in 2009 was 90,000. Total number of warranty repairs performed by “Computer Clinic Network” in the previous year has increased but not so much. The reason for it was the general decline in computer equipment sales volume. However, “Computer Clinic Network” has performed over 30,000 warranty repairs. The number of requests for paid repairs has increased significantly, that is connected to decrease of the buyers’ activity of buying new equipment.
Currently computer clinics operate almost in all federal districts of Russia (the short-range plans of the company include establishment of the clinic in the Far East). In 2009 “Computer Clinic Network” opened over 30 new clinics but as result of the crisis some of them were closed. Finally, at the end of 2009 the total number of clinics was 62.
Investments in establishment of one computer clinic are not large and usually do not exceed 20-30 thousand dollars. All clinics are opened in accordance with the franchise system based on operating service centers and strictly adhere to the established business policy of the Management Company (MC). The rules accepted by the MC contain a wide range of requirements to the franchisee: from behaviour towards clients to decoration of premises of each clinic. Such clearness of the network structure enables to create an easy-to-manage and clear business system attractive for world computer manufacturers.
At the end of the year the first network’s own clinic was opened. The new point of sale is located in the computer discount center CITYLINK. Wide and various audience of CITYLINK will enable “Computer Clinic Network” to study its potential clients better and will help to form new and most up-to-date services.
Today “Computer Clinic Network” has numerous authorizations entitling to conduct official warranty service of computer equipment. Such companies as Asus, Dell, Dr.Web, HP, Panasonic, Samsung and many others are among the network’s partners. In 2009 some more authorizations were obtained: DIGMA, AirTies, TEEN.
In 2010 “Computer Clinic Network” is going to proceed with development of the two areas of its business - services for individuals and services for organizations. The company’s new internet sites specially customized for those two target groups are being developed. The company’s plans also include further regional development of the network.
